Kurt Review

Today, we have yet another Rust-eze Racing Center trainee to take a look at. More specifically, this one is Kurt, one of the more prominently featured trainees in the Cars 3 movie. You may better remember him as "the Bug Guy." I have a love/hate relationship with these cars. It's cool to get them, and I want to collect them all because each one is a little different than the last. But, I don't really like the fact that they are basically the only cars released in the Rust-eze Racing Center series (aside from a few re-releases and the new Trainer Cruz).

Anyway, Kurt is trainee #12 and has light purple accents. He is the second purple trainee, following the very dark purple of Junyi. He is another trainee using the more rectangular Next-Gens body, usually referred to as the Danny Swervez model by fans. Speaking of Danny, Kurt also uses Danny's mouth, but that's nothing new. He has the same mouth and same eye expression as most of then other trainees.

At the end of the day, Kurt is just another Rust-eze Racing Center trainee. If you're looking for another one of these cars either for play or for your collection, you've found it! He's a very nice, simple diecast, but, that could be said about any of the trainees. Unfortunately, there isn't much that makes this guy stand out in a sea of Rust-eze Racing Center trainees, (and while that is kind of the point, they're all the same generic car, just with different accents) it's kind of disappointing to me that Kurt wasn't given a unique expression like Ronald or Junyi. Despite this, I do really like Kurt, since I like these trainees, and want to make a massive collection of them, just like in the movie. Anyway guys, thanks for checking out this review, and make sure to check back soon for another one! Bye, now!

  1. Awesome! Looks like Aiden's army is growing...
btw I hope we're gonna see Aiden (maybe with Sterling) as the new villain now that Cruz has turned good.
