I was pleasantly surprised today to find the newest wave of singles at Target. While it isn't my favorite wave of the year, it still has some great new releases and re-releases!
The Hudson Hornet with Tire is a variant I never really expected to see released, but it's always nice to see a new variant of Doc. I just wish he had a happier expression instead of the typical Doc face.
Metallic Snot Rod is a cool release to get, although I wish his color scheme were a big lighter.
Silver Raoul and Slider are both very nice rereleases, although I would've preferred another WGP racer to get a silver rerelease instead of him. The same goes for Metallic Union Jack Ramone, who I also found today. He's a nice new release, but I would've preferred if a different Ramone, or just a different car, got the metallic treatment instead.

Wow, great scores! Did you know the silver Raoul is actually different from the silver racer version? And it's not the rims that are different, but on the silver racer version (which I own) the white is also made silver.

Deleteif the silver collection is based on something in the cars universe, it's not the same event as the silver race, so in that case it would make sense that they are different
It’s probably just a way to get collectors or people who already have the silver racers to still pick up these new ones.

DeleteYeah, it’s that one. I got it back in 2017. It’s a plastic McQueen that unfolds into a little track. They made a fabulous McQueen version, too. I’ve also used it for my thumbnails of the endurance racers and several other piston cup racers, as well as my XRS drag racer reviews
DeleteI actually recently got Metallic Miguel Camino, ice racer Max Schnell, light and sounds Mater, cars 1 darren leadfoot, and a whole bunch of double cars and planes (like Carlo Maserati and Leadbottom) at a flea market

DeleteMy brother has one, which works. I've found a few light and sound cars before on flea markets, first was Darrell with headset, I never realised that he was a light and sound car until I saw it on the world of cars forum, I also got a light and sound Mcqueen. I put new batteries in both of them and now they work again.

DeleteIf I remember correctly last time we saw Tim was when he and a couple other next gens chased the haulers of Jackson, Paul and Chris. at the end he was left alone with the back part of Jackson's hauler. and got picked up by Steve Hearsell and Lightning. He had been stuck for a week and lost his mind. they made a joke where he believed his was Slubfelubfelub or something like that. He got put in the impound, but the car in white actually traded a samurai helmet with Mater for Tim Treadless (in the middle of the night). he said he wanted to get information out of Tim and sell it, and also sell Tim. But I'm not sure if that happened since Cruz put a bomb in him and after that exploded he said he needed a different job (I assume that means he's no longer a trader)
